CPAC10

The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) begins tomorrow in Washington DC.  Over 10,000 have pre-registered for this event which includes three days of speeches, forums, and an exhibit hall displays from over 100 groups associated with the Conservative movement.  Speakers include Liz Cheney, Rep. Steve King (R-IA), Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and culminates with the keynote speech from Glenn Beck on Saturday afternoon.

This conference began in 1973 and gained prominence as Ronald Reagan emerged as a conservative leader.  It has continued to grow in popularity and has become the Disney World for Conservatives.

I am flying to Washington this afternoon for my first ever CPAC.  I will be attending with some folks who I have met in person and others that I only know from our conversations on Twitter.   Looking forward to meeting and talking with conservatives from all over the US.   Stay tuned……
